iPVoice Test software, which runs on iPhone®, iPod touch®, and iPad® mobile digital devices, exercises Voice Over IP (VoIP) functionality over a WiFi link. For the purpose of this document, when iPhone is used, it refers to iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad interchangeably. iPVoice™ enables the user to set up a VoIP voice connection between a pair of iPhones using a direct IP to IP connection. In other words, it is intended to be used as test equipment rather than as a SIP phone application. IPVoice does not yet include support for the SIP protocol.
