Embedded Software Engineer – Linux/Android

Your role will be to develop Voice Over IP framework software that runs on the Android operating system. This framework will in turn enable users (customers) to develop mobile VoIP enabled applications thereby opening up new markets for Adaptive Digital's existing VoIP and voice quality enhancement software products. As we grow into these new markets, you will help identify ways that Adaptive Digital can fit into these markets with new and innovative software products and services.

Experience:

Required Experience

3+ years real-time embedded Linux
3+ years C programming
Java and Native application development for Android
Audio Flinger, Audio Drivers (ALSA), IP Stack

Desirable Experience

1. Linux kernel, BSP, device drivers
2. Java Programming
3. Mixed Java / Native programming (JNI)
4. Experience with telecom / VoIP applications
5. ARM programming
6. Programming on Texas Instruments SoC devices (OMAP or DaVinci)
7. General understanding of Digital Signal Processing

Education:

1. BS (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
