Brian M. McCarthy

Chairman and founder, originated Adaptive Digital's product line of voice compression, echo cancellation and telephony signaling. Brian incorporates over twenty five years of experience into his DSP development and leadership responsibilities for Adaptive Digital. His professional research and product development initiated at RCA Corporation where he worked in the Voice Compression Group, followed by a research position of new voice compression techniques at Interdigital Corporation. Brian also developed and researched voice compression software for Bell Laboratories before founding Adaptive Digital. He earned his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University. He is currently an instructor at Villanova, teaching real-time digital processing.

Scott D. Kurtz

Vice President, has focused on building an engineering team and developing DSP based software products and technology to accelerate and improve Adaptive Digital's product development. Scott has specialized in the field of Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications over the course of his 25-year career, beginning at RCA Corporation's Government Communications Systems Division. Scott moved on to InterDigital Communications Corporation Inc. where he was instrumental in developing the first digital wireless local loop telephone system which was the precursor to today's digital cellular telephone systems. Scott holds fourteen patents. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and his MS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
