Adaptive Digital provides all of the telephony algorithms necessary to a VoIP system. All of our algorithms are multi-channel capable, and their functions are C-callable.

ACOUSTIC BEAMFORMER

The Adaptive Digital Acoustic Beamformer improves the signal to noise ratio of speech signals by coherently summing signals obtained from a linearly-spaced microphone array.

AUTOMATIC GAIN CONTROL

AGC - Auto Speech Level Adjustment C54x , C55x , C6xx , C64x+

The Adaptive Digital Technologies Automatic Gain Control (AGC) algorithm is used to automatically adjust the speech level of an audio signal to a user selected value.

ARBITRARY TONE DETECTOR

ATD - Detects User Defined Tones C54x , C55x , C6xx

Adaptive Digital’s Arbitrary Tone Detector software detects user-defined tones. This software finds use when the user needs signaling tones other than the standard DTMF and MF tones.

Conferencing (High Density) C54x , C55x , C6xx

The Adaptive Digital Technologies Conferencing software is designed to provide conference call capability to telephone systems. The conferencing algorithm adds the active conference input signals together to form a composite signal. Before sending the composite signal back to each conference party, that party’s transmission is removed from the composite signal to avoid the perception of echo.

Adaptive Digital has two classes of noise reduction algorithms. They are distinguished by a number of characteristics: Standard (noise reduction) and Low Complexity (noise suppression).

NOISE SUPPRESSION

NS - Voice Quality Enhancement C55x

The Adaptive Digital noise suppression software reduces background noise that is present in speech signals during periods between speech periods, but not during the actual speech periods. This is a low-MIPS alternative to noise reduction, which reduces noise during speech periods also.
